Ancient man used to eat the eggs of this horrible bird!
Papua New Guinea: The terrifying bird in the picture is called “Kasuri” or “Kiswari”. It is a close relative of the ostrich and is found in Northern Australia, New Guinea and other nearby islands.

It has now been revealed that 18,000 years ago, ancient humans not only raised this giant bird like chickens, but also ate its eggs and meat.

Archaeologists are still struggling to gather enough evidence before reaching the final conclusions about the location.

Like ostriches, kasuri can grow up to 6 feet in height, have green eggs with an average length of 14 cm and a width of 9 cm. Only ostrich eggs are slightly larger than them.

Although it cannot fly, its legs are very strong and it can run very fast.

Under normal circumstances, it is a quiet and shy bird, but if it feels in danger of its own life, then it can tear the enemy’s skin with its hard and dagger-like claws.

It is a mystery to experts how the ancient man could have raised this terrifying bird because it is extremely difficult to control it in spite of modern facilities.

It must have been a very difficult and life-threatening task for the ancient man to hunt down Kasuri without special tools and weapons or to lock him up in a certain compound.

From the places where the shells of these ancient Kasuri eggs have been found, and from the observation of other human and animal remains found nearby, it is almost certain that thousands of years ago, Kasuri birds were reared in these places.

It is possible that ancient man, whom we call savages today, was far more advanced than we thought thousands of years ago.
