KARACHI: Actress Mahesh Hayat has questioned the rising crime against women and children in the country and demanded that the government state what it is doing to change the system in the country.

Actress Mahesh Hayat on her social media accounts raised the issue of sexual and gender-based violence against women and children in the country, saying that the time for hashtags and slogans is over. The actress demanded that the government state what it is going to do to change the system. Sexual and gender-based violence and other forms of discrimination in society cannot be eradicated without a change in the system.

In another tweet, Mahesh Hayat said that there are laws in the country. We need to make the enforcement of these laws more stringent and less painful for those affected. Actress Mahesh Hayat, while questioning the judicial system in the country, said that the judicial system in our country is dangerous, ineffective and outdated.

In another tweet, Mahesh Hayat said that living a safe life free from violence and abuse is a basic right of every person. No one should be afraid while living.
