Sharmeen Obaid erupts over speculation of Halima Sultan becoming Peshawar Zalmai’s brand ambassador
RACHI: Oscar-winning Pakistani director Sharmeen Obaid Chennai exploded on social media over the news of Halima Sultan, also known as Halima Sultan, becoming Peshawar Zalmi’s brand ambassador, calling it dangerous for Pakistani artists.
A few days ago, Turkish actress Isra Beligach aka Halima Sultan shared a beautiful photo of Islamia College in Peshawar on her social media accounts and called it a “city of flowers”. Javed Afridi, the founder of Peshawar Zalmai, retweeted this tweet of Isra Bulgich and wrote exactly the same thing, “City of Flowers”.
After which speculations started that Isra Bulgich would become Peshawar Zalmi’s brand ambassador in the Pakistan Super League this year and would represent Peshawar Zalmi. In an Instagram post, when a post was shared about Isra Belgich becoming Peshawar Zalmi’s brand ambassador, Oscar-winning director Sharmeen Obaid Chanay was not happy about it and expressed his reservations.
