In an interview given to a foreign website, Mathira said that feminism is a good thing, the women’s march is fine but some of the things written on the placards during this march are not correct. Men and women complement each other, no one is superior to the other.
Asked about being always embroiled in controversy, Mathira said, “I speak the truth. I speak the truth that others do not speak. I speak what people hide.” People now hide things and when these things come to light, they become difficult to digest.
