The British Queen broke the national tradition and gave the award to ‘James Bond’
LONDON: The British Queen has broken a decades-old tradition by awarding an award to the hero who played James Bond in the action-packed film ‘Mission Empowerment’.

The Queen presented Daniel Craig with the Order of St. Michael and St. George’s Award, which is given only to diplomats and real-life detectives for valuable services.

Breaking with tradition, the Queen presented the nationally significant award to film hero Daniel Craig, who has played the role of James Bond in the film Mission Impossible for the past 15 years.

It was reported that the actor was hired for ‘film and theater services’.

According to the Royal Family’s official website, the award is given primarily for the outstanding performance of Foreign Service officers and diplomats.
