With the hashtag Twitter, Joyland is also among the top trends in which other users including actress Mahira Khan and famous showbiz personalities are expressing happiness over this award.
The story of Joyland revolves around the life of an eunuch, the film is produced by Sarmad Khost and Oporova Charan and the music is composed by Abdullah Siddiqui. Sania Saeed, Sana Jafari, Ali Junejo, Alina Khan, Sarwat Gilani, Rasti Farooq and other actors performed well in the prominent cast of this feature film of Saeem Sadiq.
It should be noted that the category of feature films at the Cannes Film Festival is limited to only 14 films in which the selection of Joyland was very important in the sense that it is the first Pakistani feature film to be screened in Cannes.
